Our Vision: The Learning Loft Market Rasen
Learning Loft UK began with a simple idea: to create a safe, flexible and supportive place where learners could build confidence, access high-quality teaching and take positive steps forward.
What started as a collaboration between experienced teachers above a local café has grown into a wider learning community in the heart of Market Rasen.
Learn, Grow, Thrive.
Our Roots: Experience and Adaptability
Learning Loft UK was founded by educators who understood that not every child or young person thrives in a traditional classroom environment. Some learners need a quieter space, a different pace, a trusted adult, a specialist approach or a more flexible pathway back into education.
Our Journey: Collaboration and Growth
From those early beginnings, Learning Loft UK has developed into a collaborative network of qualified, insured and DBS-checked teachers and tutors, each bringing their own expertise while working together under one shared ethos.
Our Approach: Learner Focused and Tailored
Our approach is relationship-first, learner-centred and practical. We support children, young people and families by creating learning opportunities that feel safe, purposeful and achievable.
What We Offer
We provide a comprehensive and flexible range of services for students and families seeking an alternative to the traditional school setting.
Alongside our direct support for families, we work in partnership with local authorities, schools and Lincolnshire Virtual School to provide EOTAS and Alternative Provision packages. Learning Loft UK is also approved through the EHC Hub, supporting coordinated provision for learners with additional needs.
Academic Qualifications
Functional Skills Centre:
We offer teaching and examination support for Functional Skills English and Maths, helping learners work towards recognised qualifications that can support further education, employment and future progression.
GCSEs & A-Levels:
We support learners preparing for GCSE and A Level qualifications through specialist tuition, structured teaching and links with external exam centres where students can sit official examinations.
Classes & Programmes
Home Education Groups:
Our home education provision has grown from a single weekly group into a wider programme of in-person classes. These sessions give learners the opportunity to access structured teaching, creative subjects and social connection in a supportive setting.
Group & 1:1 Tuition:
We offer both group tuition and individual support, with face-to-face sessions available locally and online tuition available through our wider team. This allows learners to access the right subject specialist, whether they need regular teaching, targeted intervention or exam preparation.
Specialised Learning:
Our provision includes support for foundational skills such as phonics, early literacy, Maths and core academic confidence. We also offer programmes designed for younger learners, home-educated students and children who may need a more gradual route into structured learning.
Family & Community
After-School Clubs & Half-Term Crash Courses:
We provide a full calendar of after-school activities, half-term sessions and focused learning opportunities to support families during term time and school holidays.
Sensory Space:
Our dedicated sensory and play space offers families a calm, bookable environment where younger children can explore, create, play and socialise.
A Community for Learning
Learning Loft UK is more than a tuition centre. It is a growing community of learners, families and educators working together to make education feel possible again.
We believe that progress looks different for every learner. For some, it may mean sitting an exam. For others, it may mean attending a group for the first time, building trust with a tutor, developing confidence, or beginning to see themselves as a successful learner again.
Our aim is to provide safe, flexible and meaningful learning pathways for children, young people and families who need something different.
Support Our Spaces
As our provision grows, we are continuing to develop our learning, play and sensory spaces for the local community.
We welcome donations of suitable resources such as role-play toys, books, classroom furniture, screens, computers, games and learning equipment. If you are able to support the development of these spaces, please get in touch.
