Sarah is also an important part of the Learning Loft UK story. Having previously worked with Nicola at Baysgarth School, Sarah later continued tutoring online through Helpful Humanities & More. When Learning Loft UK moved to 55 Queen Street, Sarah began renting a room upstairs for face-to-face lessons, helping to establish the 11+ tutoring and home education group provision that has continued to grow over the past two years.

As Learning Loft UK moves into its third year of collaboration with Sarah, and into new premises, she continues to work through Helpful Humanities & More while collaborating closely with the Learning Loft UK team.

Professional background

Sarah is an experienced teacher and tutor with 25 years of experience in education. She holds BA Hons and LLB Hons degrees, alongside a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status.

Her specialist teaching areas include Politics, Law, History, Geography, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Theory of Knowledge. She has particular experience supporting IB students in Philosophy and Theory of Knowledge, as well as A Level and International A Level students in Politics, Law, Philosophy and Religious Studies.

Sarah is also an examiner, giving her valuable insight into assessment expectations, exam technique and the skills students need to demonstrate in order to achieve strong outcomes.

Alongside her tutoring work, Sarah continues to run Helpful Humanities & More and collaborates with Learning Loft UK as both a tutor and administrator.
